* Quarter sawn oak construction

* Pressed copper decorative panels, strap hinges, drawer pulls and lock surrounds

* Heavy, beveled, silver-backed mirror inset in door

* Open wardrobe cabinet with original steel rod with hooks, and additional hooks added to interior walls

* Removable, fixed position shelves within right cabinet, and remnants of original canvas lining

* Two dovetail jointed drawers at bottom with solid oak panels

* Wardrobe disassembles into three pieces for transport

* Manufactured by Shapland and Petter, Barnstable, Devon, England, in late 19th-early 20th C.

* Missing original locks and key

* In original, unrestored condition with wear appropriate for age and use, including missing locks, one side panel on left side of base detached, a split on right side of base, canvas cabinet lining torn, stained and partially missing, wardrobe sitting slightly out of square with door difficult to close, scratches inside wardrobe cabinet, light scuffs, scratches and spots of discoloration to case, and spots of oxidation throughout mirror
